Evergreen IGA Show & Shine
Here are some memories from our Evergreen IGA Golddiggers 2009 Car show and shine. Beautiful and interesting show-ready vehicles packed Evergreen IGA's east side parking lot . It was a relaxing afternoon for car buffs and enthusiasts. Hundreds of dollars were raised for the annual "50/50" Indian Valley Fire and Rescue benefit. Good food was available from Evergreen IGA's Goodness and Plenty deli, and proceeds benefited the Fire department. John Papenhausen from the Mohawk Trading Post organizes this event each year, and this year he was assisted by retired firefighter and retired Evergreen employee Steve Housel and his wife Marilyn. This annual car show is free admission, and there is no charge for entering your beauty. All years and classes of vehicles are welcome, as long as they are shiny...
The next show is scheduled for Goldiggers 2010 on Saturday July 17th
